Many Asian countries are familiar with the fruit jackfruit. Jackfruit seeds are underutilized and underappreciated by the general public, yet they offer significant nutritional benefits and should be considered as a possible functional food ingredient. To the best of the author's knowledge, a considerable number of studies on jackfruit seeds' composition and health consequences have been conducted. However, further research into the commercial manufacturing of jackfruit seeds and their inclusion in food products is required. Products containing jackfruit seed flour have more nutraceutical appeal, resulting in higher customer acceptability.
