A string hopper maker is a handy kitchen tool used to press rice flour dough into fine noodles for making traditional string hoppers. Designed for ease of use, it helps create uniform strands quickly, ensuring perfectly shaped string hoppers ready for steaming.

These are plastic string hopper trays designed to make string hoppers (idiyappa). They feature a perforated surface to allow even steaming and are stackable for efficient use. Made from food-grade plastic, they are durable, easy to clean, and ideal for preparing traditional Sri Lankan and South Indian string hoppers.
